Title (3.5/5)
The title is certainly poetic to the ears but first of all I don’t think it really reflected the story. Secondly, at first glance I had no idea what your title meant, yes you explained it but I think a simple title would have been more effective, something comprehensible yet poetic.
Plot (20/30)
The way you presented the plot was unique and your desciptions was certainly vivid, however since it’s a one-shot, I can’t really comment on the plot much if there was any. To me, it was more a short scene from a movie. There wasn’t enough background on the characters or what has happened before. There was no beginning, no end, just a scene. If that was your aim, you did it well, but for a one-shot it was poorly done. Writing something directed is always difficult, but I believe you could have done a better job.
Characterization (15/25)
The characters were very intriguing. As the reader, I wanted to know who they were and their relationships with one another. Unfortunately, I feel unsatisfied with one you’ve given me. there were many open-ended questions as to what happened to them before and what happened to them in the end. Did they meet? What took place in their meeting? Though you tried to give voice and emotions to your characters, your ending left the readers hanging, leaving them with mixed feelings about the characters.
Structure (22/25)
Your writing style is very refreashing. You’ve taken a different angle on story writing and have allowed your sentence structure to flow in a timely manner.
Grammar/Spelling (15/15)
No worries about your grammer and spelling.
Bonus (3/5)
It was an interesting story but not enough for me to enjoy it.
